Italy qualified directly for the CEV Under-17 Men’s European Championship by beating Spain in the final.

Still in the fight for a place in the Final Phase, the national teams of Spain, France, Germany, Portugal and Belgium – respectively 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th classified in the WEVZA Tournament played in Darfo Boario Terme, in the Italian province of Brescia – will have to dispute, in April, the 2nd Round.

Italy surpassed (3-1: 20-25, 25-14, 25-22 and 25-21) Spain in the game for 1st and 2nd places, France beat (3-0: 25-17 , 25-21 and 25-16) Germany in the 3rd and 4th ranking game and Portugal headed the ranking from 5th to 7th, with a triumph (3-1: 25- 23, 19-25, 25-18 and 25-15) against Belgium. The Netherlands was the last placed national team.
