How do you combine beach and indoor training? A webinar on this theme will be organized on Thursday 13 January.
With the increasing relevance of beach volleyball as an Olympic Sport, many countries already have national beach volleyball programs. The Netherlands has had since 2007 a youth and senior national beach volleyball program. The Netherlands also has a « hybrid » vision where all talented youth players have the chance to learn both disciplines. In the webinar given by Victor Anfiloff (former head coach Beach Team Netherlands) and Joep van Iersel (FIVB and CEV Technical Supervisor), they will share the lessons learned from the last 10+ years. This will include load management, technical differences, and selection policies in hybrid programs.
The webinar is a cooperation between the Dutch Volleyball Federation (Nevobo) and the Western European Volleyball Zonal Association (WEVZA). Trainers from all over Europe can register, so the evening will therefore mainly be in English.
