The inaugural tournament of the 2015 WEVZA Beach Volleyball Zonal Tour lived a very interesting Saturday, with exciting matches in the three courts of the fantastic venue of Moll de la Marina. A full entry in the Centre Court will be repeated on Sunday in the finals of Sunday evening.
The men’s tournament enjoyed an exciting battle that placed Salvetti-Daguerre (FRA) and italians Caminatti-Rossi in semifinals. The French staged with the Spanish Fran Thomas-César Menéndez the most thrilling match of the day. Great spikes, impossible defenses and all the passion of beach volleyball for 60 minutes and three balanced sets, where Daguerre Salvetti- handled better the delicate moments to earn a place in the semifinals. Fran Thomas and Cesar Menendez try to be among the best in their game tomorrow against the losers Cecchini-Martino Italians, who eliminated his fellow-Andriatta Abbiati. They also fight to be in the semifinals Koekelkoren-Van Walle, who got off to Monfort-Minaya.
