KATOWICE, POLAND
The meeting of WEVZA’s Executive Committee, chaired by Vicente Araújo, President of WEVZA and the Portuguese Volleyball Federation, was held on Friday in the city of Katowice and looked into the calendar of activities to be carried out in the coming year.
With the presence of representatives from the eight countries that make up the WEVZA, the Report and Accounts of the activity for 2021 was approved, as well as the events for 2022 were defined. This year there will be Seminars, one concerning Volleyball, organized by Belgium, and another regarding Beach Volleyball, organized by the Netherlands.
The following events are thus planned:
VOLLEYBALL:
U-17 Women – Date and place to be defined, Belgium – January 2022
U-18 Men – Date and place to be defined, Netherlands – January 2022
U-18 Women – Date and place to be defined, Italy – July/August 2022
U-19 Men – Date and place to be defined, France – July/August 2022
BEACH VOLLEYBALL:
U-21 Men & Women – Date and place to be defined, Portugal – Winter 2021/Summer 2022
U-21 Men & Women – Date and place to be defined, Switzerland – Summer 2022
In 2021:
– A Webinar for Volleyball Coaches belonging to the different WEVZA Federations, to be organized by Belgium.
– A Webinar for Beach Volleyball Coaches belonging to the different WEVZA Federations, to be organized by the Netherlands.
