The Royal Spanish Volleyball Federation head offices in Madrid will welcome two transcendental meetings scheduled for the second week of September that will mark the future of the Zonal Volleyball Association of Western European countries. The Executive Committee and the Technical Commission will gather in Spanish capital to evaluate the progress of WEVZA, and to arrange the steps to be taken in order to boost the progress of the union of nations.
After its official creation last October, WEVZA has lived its first months of life, a period in which the first competitions in Volleyball and Beach Volleyball have been successfully organized. In order to analyze the evolution of the association, WEVZA Executive Committee and WEVZA Technical Commission will celebrate meetings in Madrid in September.
The Executive Committee will meet on September 11th and 12th. In addition to assess different administrative and financial matters, the main management body of the institution will examine the feedback from the events organized in the past months, namely, the WEVZA Boys and Girls Tournaments, celebrated in Spanish city of Valladolid and Swiss city of Schaffhausen, the WEVZA Under 19 Beach Volleyball Championship in Dutch city of The Hague, the WEVZA Under 21 Beach Volleyball tournament held in Portuguese city of Macedo de Cavaleiros and the WEVZA Senior Beach Volleyball Zonal Tour in Italian city of Capaci.
Moreover, the Committee will review the competition calendar for 2015 as well as new projects for the association.
Meanwhile, WEVZA Technical Commission will meet on September, 10th and 11 th. Representatives of the Commission will present reports from the five events celebrated this year and will propose amendments to the respective competition regulations. The presentation of the technical section in WEVZA official website, as well as a brainstorming for the development projects, together with deciding the date and venue of the upcoming meetings will be other points in the agenda.
