The first edition of WEVZA Girls Tournament started on Tuesday in Swiss city of Schaffhausen. The BBC Arena sports hall welcomed eight of the best U17 teams in Europe, for five exciting days of competition that will showcase the upcoming stars of the sport in women category.
The first day of the tournament, celebrated on Tuesday, introduced the emotion of a competition that replaces the traditional 8 Nations event and presented moments of great Volleyball in the four matches that catalyzed the attention of fans. During all the competition, some of the best actions will be reflected in the complete gallery, provided by local organizers, that are making a great effort in the promotion of this outstanding event. The competition started on Tuesday and will finish on Saturday, with the final matches. In the opening games of the competition, Italy beat Spain and Belgium won 3:0 to Portugal in Pool B, while Germany and The Netherlands certified their candidacies to semifinals with two three-setter victories over France and Switzerland.
