The city of Valladolid gets ready to host the spectacular 2015 WEVZA U19 Championship – Men and the 2015 WEVZA U16 Championship – Girls, a double event to be held this week which gathers the future stars of the nations that form the zonal Volleyball association of Western Europe.

The Polideportivo Pisuerga in Spanish city acts as venue of a WEVZA competition for the second consecutive year, after hosting the 2014 U18 Championship – Men last year, thus catalysing the attention of continental Volleyball with two thrilling competitions. The teams of Belgium, France, Italy, Germany, The Netherlands, Portugal, Switzerland and Spain meet in the men’s tournament in a quest for the domination of underage Volleyball in the zonal association of Western European nations. The participants will be distributed in two pools where the four semifinalists will be decided. The final is scheduled for Sunday, at 19.00 hours.

The first edition of the 2015 WEVZA U16 championship – Girls will take place in the Spanish city in a competition that will showcase the teams of Belgium, Italy, The Netherlands, Portugal, Switzerland and Spain. All the contenders will play in a single pool, and the four top squads will clash in the semifinals. The final is scheduled for Sunday, at 17.30 hours. The action will start on Wednesday with the first pool matches in both categories.
