The countdown for the first competition of the 2015 WEVZA Beach Volleyball Tour is coming to an end, as the celebration of the “City of Barcelona” International Beach Volleyball Tournament is quickly approaching. Some of the best teams of the WEVZA countries will compete in a thrilling event to be held in Spanish city from May, 29th to May, 31st.
The “Moll de la Marina” beach in Barcelona conforms the stage where the first tournament of the 2015 WEVZA Beach Volleyball Tour will take place. The event will gather some of the best players of the Zonal Volleyball Association of the Western European countries, composed by the nations of Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland, as top-level teams will clash in a competition that constitutes the inaugural tournament of the year for the zonal tour.
The “City of Barcelona” International Tournament counts with 1000 Euros per gender as prize money and it is expected to congregate up to 28 teams coming from all the WEVZA countries.
The Spanish metropolis constitutes the first stop of a Zonal Tour that will also visit the cities of Rome and Montpellier, following the successful events in Montpellier and Palermo of last season.
